When you live in a place like Cali it's nice to have a light coat or jacket on hand.  I live in the Northern part of California so it does get way colder than southern Cali, so in the past couple of years I have just been hoarding thick cute coats and lately I am finding that I really don't have very much lighter coats or jackets in my closet. So glad I found this really cute gray one from Choies, it's perfect for cool (not freezing cold) weather and perfect too for layering. I love its minimalist, modern style and it's such a steal!! It's seriously below $25 right now!! So if you are looking for something like this click on my link above to get it because it probably won't last long.

Anyway, this week is supposed to be a lighter week for me and Mark. (Geesh do I even know how it's like to have a "light" week?!?) but we are all trying to get over a cold now. Carter got his first cold and hope it goes away soon. He is such a trooper though, still smiling and playing all day even if his eyes and sniffles tell me he is not feeling well.

But anyway, Christmas is around the corner and I can't even believe it!! At least we got the house decorated and cleaned up and the gifts are under the tree.... so yes! It's starting to look a lot like Christmas over here! Are you guys done with your Christmas shopping? Well you still have some time. I try to post some cool gift ideas too on my instagram so come follow along! Oh!! And before I forget, if you are still looking for gifts for her, on this post I am wearing probably the most comfortable heeled over the knee boots!! I am so so glad I found them. I literally can wear them all day and the heel height is just right. So these boots can be a great gift too! I linked it above and some similar ones. Have you guys found great gifts ideas this year? Please do share!! I would love to hear and find out about them too!!  :)

Hope you are having a fab week!

I love a nice, easy, and cute Summer dress. You wear it, you don't have to think about what to wear with it with and off you go! I also felt like I needed more color so I decided to wear this aztec print bucket bag to add color and texture to the look. The dress and the bag is now sold out so I attached similar links above.

Anyway, I cannot believe another week has gone! I feel like it should only be Wednesday right now.  Carter also turns 3 months this month! It sure is flying by! I better get on and get his photos professionally taken and some family pictures as well. Boy am I slacking off on that! Never thought I'd ever have to plan a theme for a baby's professional photo sesh!! It's pretty crazy! But here I am.... I think it's going to be so much fun I'm excited! But first, I need some inspiration. First stop is Pinterest!

Cheers to another week! I can't even believe we are already nearing the end of July. Summer seems to be going by waaaay too fast.

During this hot season, my rotation usually consists of shorts, rompers, skirts and dresses. And this dress I am wearing is so so perfect. It's so cute and it's so easy and not to mention how soft and comfy it is. I also love the slit detail on the side. And the reason why I say this dress is perfect is because you can pretty much wear it everywhere and I call it the everyday, all around dress. It's perfect to wear to for traveling, for running around and even for a swimsuit cover up. We all must have  pieces like this in our closet.

And since I only work with the brands I like and believe in, I am so so happy to bring you another cool giveaway! I have teamed up with The Mint Julep Boutique to giveaway a $25 gift card to their store! They seriously have so many cute pieces, there's really something for everyone and for any occasion.  I promise you, if you win you won't be keeping this gift card for long!  The giveaway is running on my instagram so head on over there for a chance to win!

I accessorized the dress with this really pretty semi-precious stone necklace from the Nordstrom anniversary sale. It's really pretty and on a great price now too. So if you likey, snag it before the sale ends!

Hope you have an amazing weekend and hope to see you on Insta! :)

SPRING NIGHT OUT

May 19, 2015

Hi guys! It has been a crazy whirlwind in the past few days. Giving birth to baby Carter, post partum healing and the beginning of motherhood. Will definitely talk more about it later. But right now I just wanted to do a quick post still on maternity fashion. I have a few more that we have already shot and I am so excited to show them to you guys and introduce these new stores to you!  I love this big lace high low dress, I decided to wear it with a black jacket to dress it up a little for a night out. And since it is Spring, I wanted to stick with a neutral palette and just wear these sandals and nude clutch.

This is the 2nd look I have put together with my Bump Style Box goodies! And to read more about the, click on my post here

Enjoy! :)

When I saw this silk dress, it was a no brainer I had to have it. I don't usually wear a lot of greens but this is a good deep olive green color that's perfect for this season. But I really fell in love with this because of all the design details and the style. It's a shirt dress style so that's always an easy piece to wear, plus I love detail on the shoulders and mostly the lace on the bottom.  It's also real great for layering. I decided to wear it with my nude/ tan booties and dressed it down a little with my chambray wrap. This dress would also look super cute with sneakers, booties and of course heels.

I accessorized this look with my favorite new bracelets/ cuffs. I am obesessed with every piece in my stack, I wear them everyday with pretty much everything. They seem to just be right for a dressed up or dressed down look. If you love accessories like me, I think it's important to have a good solid set that you use for stacking, pretty much your go-to bracelet stacking that looks good  on any occasion. And then from there you can always add more or change up some pieces to suit your mood. And right now Ellie Vail Jewelry is offering you guys a sweet discount of 15%OFF your entire order just enter code "Twentyeightvia" at checkout. Her pieces are all on point!
