STAYING ON TIME THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

During this time of the year, there are so many parties, engagements and events which makes this season so much more fun, joyful and magical! Being able to celebrate it with friends and family make it so special.  But it also makes it really really busy for everyone!! Finding the right outfits to for each event, gift shopping, gift wrapping, travel, Preparing the house for guests, Food prep for parties and so much more!! And I love having my Marc Bale watch this season, helping me stay on time and stay on schedule!  If you are like me.... I am always late!! (it's a real struggle haha!) And to make things even easier for me when getting ready and accessorizing, I also got this perfect Gold Cuff to go along my chic watch. I call it "the perfect gold cuff" because it's simple and stylish and it really easily goes along with anything I wear. So that cuts my getting ready time not having to think about what accessory to wear. I just grab my watch and the cuff and know that it goes well with anything and out the door I go.

BURNT ORANGE FOR FALL

Hi guys! I know, it seems like it has been a while since my last post so I really apologize for it. It has been so crazy busy with the Holidays, Mark's job and the little guy so all I'm able to do is insta-post! (see here, instagram) But it's all a good busy :) 

So what have you guys been up to the past weeks and how was your Thanksgiving? Do you usually make dishes for Thanksgiving or are you the chef of the family and is the one in charge of the turkey?? :) In the past years I've only done side dishes and appetizers but never yet a turkey!! Goodness! Being in charge of the Turkey is some serious business! Maybe one day, ha! 

Anyway, did you guys score some great deals on all the Thanksgiving sales plus cyber Monday sales? I actually am pleased to say that this year I think I really did. Found really good gifts this year  I am so excited to wrap them and give them and see our family's reactions. And we are actually almost done with gift shopping this year which might be a first. We usually wait so late and are cramming a few days before Christmas.  I know, terribs right? How's your Christmas shopping going?

Well let's talk about today's unplanned outfit!! Each piece was so unplanned and I really love how they all turned out really cute together. I originally ordered this coat thinking it was camel color but it's really more like burnt orange which I think is really perfect too. I actually am now obsessed with  the color of this coat!! I think I will be wearing this a lot this season. It's super soft and the fit is perf!

The dress was super on sale and I thought it's just a good basic piece to have.

And these shoes!!! Brogues in nude color and the sole in white platforms = perfection!! I mean I can literally wear these with everything!! It's definitely a must have guys! 

So I am thinking, these shoes were the inspiration in creating this whole look!

LAYERING, HOW I'VE MISSED YOU!

Fiiiiinally!! Yep, it's finally cooling down here in Cali and it's quite exciting!! I was getting tired of

the confused weather and honestly, I felt like my outfits were all starting to get confused too! It's

actually even raining here tonight and I've definitely missed the sound of the rain. I took Carter out

to see the rain for the first time this afternoon and it was just the cutest thing. He had the biggest eyes

and just completely mesmerized!

And since the weather is cooling down the first thing I pulled out is one of my favorite blanket

scarves of all time :D - for layering. I wore this on a post last year but wore it a different way.  

On this look, I used it to layer this oversized top and leather pants.  I really love this layered top from

Choies.  The neutral colors are perfect and all the little details from the sides, the back, the cut, just

everything design wise makes this top an easy favorite of mine. There's a ton of really cute pieces

Now let's talk about these shoes!!!! If you follow me on instagram (click to follow ), you would have 

seen me post them there a couple of times ...  but here it is now!! Finally making their debut on the 

blog!! (Yaaay!) With it's up close photo, capturing all its details and and the different views so you 

can totally see them from all sides! Yes!! They are so far my favorite pair - Like my faaavorite!! I 

fell in love with them the first time I saw them. They also come in black so that was really a hard 

choice for me. But these silver ones just won! They are also one of the most comfortable pair of

shoes I own, they fit like a glove! 

I'm really impressed with how Coach  re-vamped their 2015 collection. Their 

new Fall collection is so AAAH-MAZING I am so in love with every piece. Their new grunge style 

has got me craving some grunge!

Cheers to another week! I can't even believe we are already nearing the end of July. Summer seems to be going by waaaay too fast. 

During this hot season, my rotation usually consists of shorts, rompers, skirts and dresses. And this dress I am wearing is so so perfect. It's so cute and it's so easy and not to mention how soft and comfy it is. I also love the slit detail on the side. And the reason why I say this dress is perfect is because you can pretty much wear it everywhere and I call it the everyday, all around dress. It's perfect to wear to for traveling, for running around and even for a swimsuit cover up. We all must have  pieces like this in our closet.
