MOVIE NIGHT IN MY NEW FAVORITE MAXI

May 22, 2015

Hi guys! I guess today is a TGIF day! With the new baby,  all the days just all seem like a blur. Well I

hope you guys all had a great week!

On these post,  I was  9 months pregnant and when you are that far along,  all you can think about is

being comfortable. And thanks once again to my Bump Style Box! My box included this amazing

maxi dress, it's so soft and I really love the cut, where it gets really flowy on the bottom. Love the

color and the fabric feels really luxurious.  It. is. so. comfortable.

Decided to wear this for a night out with Mark to a dinner and to watch a movie before the baby

came. It was the perfect dress and this is certainly a piece you can wear over and over.

Bump Style Box is a pretty cool styling service for the expectant mothers. Especially for the ones that

do not have the time to shop or just really don't know what to wear while pregnant. You get your own

stylist and they ship different pieces to you and you get to try them on in the comfort of your home.

You keep what you like and you return what you don't. Easy peasy!

This is the third outfit I am wearing from my box. If you want to see the first and 2nd outfit I wore

and put together adding my own flare (of course!) you can click here and here.

Anyway, my sis and mom and little niece are flying in for a visit this weekend to meet baby Carter! I

am so excited and can't wait for them to meet the babe. Hope you all have an amazing weekend!

Fur Clutch Zara / Similar here, here and here

Lips Nars

The first time I saw this dress I immediately fell in love. It's such a perfect minimalist piece. It's made of wool and I really love the cut, high neck details and slit on the back. You can wear it alone or wear it like I did and layered it with a long sleeve shirt. Gray shirt or a stripe shirt would look really cute layered with it too. You can also dress it down with your favorite flats or sneakers. Love love love this dress and I can't believe how much it's on sale right now too! It's like 50% off!  Have you guys found your  favorite winter dress yet?

A little update on this baby bump. I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going. Next week I hit 6 months of pregnancy and on mid February (which is coming up here pretty fast!) I will be 7 months!!!! OMG and a few more months and it will be labor time! (Aahhh!) I am super excited for baby Carter to arrive but really dreading the labor part.... but I am sure it will all be ok! Funny too I think I am now finally getting hit with that pregnancy fatigue. Usually they say it hits you on the first and 3rd trimester. But for me it's hitting me on my 2nd. Hopefully it goes away in a few weeks and I get my high energy back.

Anyway, what about you guys? How's your week going so far? I'd love to hear what you guys have been up to! :)

CHUNKY, CHUNKY SCARVES

January 7, 2015

Yep, definitely one of my favorite pair of boots this season. It's not not completely flat heeled but it doesn't have the high stiletto heels as well. So it's really just a comfy pair you can wear out and about.  I also love the whole structure and design details of it.

I really  love this (faux) fur clutch. It's so different and it's really great for adding a layer of texture to your whole look!

Chunky, Chunky, blanket scarves!! Oh how I love them! I think out of all the different styles of scarves, the chunky blanket style is my fave! It just looks so cozy and somewhat so effortless with the hair tucked, or on a messy pony tail, or a messy bun.  I decided to wear this scarf with this awesome and super comfy sweater dress form Mango (which is on crazy sale by the way). With this growing baby bump I have been trying to find clothes that I can wear comfortably now and still be able to wear after pregnancy. And these cocoon style dresses and shift dresses are so perfect for it. I just don't want to invest on about 5 months worth of clothes you can only wear when you are pregnant. Don't get me wrong, I also love the more fitting maternity ones that show off the bump but I try to keep a balance. I always believe in 50% splurging and 50% practicality.
I've also been wanting to try out a different shade of lipstick I've never used before and that's more of the chocolate, coffee colored shade. Finally tried the ones from Nars, they have a lot of shades to choose from. From light to dark and I really like this one I am using which is the Deborah shade.

How's your week going so far? Have you guys tried on any new lips shades for the new Year? If so I'd love to hear which ones!! :)

CASUAL IN FLORALS

Happy weekend everyone! Well you guessed it right, it is still very hot where I am so you are still going to see a lot of shorts and Summer outfits. This whole week we are at 90 plus degrees everyday. Is it still hot where you are or has it started cooling down?  I love summer time and the sun but I have started browsing Fall collections and I don't know if it's just me but it seems like every designer and every store has completely upped their game and the Fall collections I've seen are SO amazing that it makes me super excited for Fall. But on this outfit post, I really love the floral button up top. The colors, the print and structure is so perfect. Just wore it with denims and my  favorite white flats. I would also wear this top with jeans and wide leg culottes.

Anyway, if you are following me on instagram you might have seen me post a closet inspiration photo for narrow closets. I need to re-do and re-organize my whole closet because however I organized it years ago, it's just not working for me anymore and it's surprising how completely stuck I am feeling...I usually have no problem organizing. I like all things having its own place. I need to re-organize my closet to where everything is visible from clothes, purses, hats and shoes!! So project closet re-haul must start asap! I've been reading and browsing and I think I've finally gotten some good, new tricks to organize. Maybe I'll take before and after photos and post it here.  Do you guys have any cool tips for closet organization?

NUDE TONES

I love wearing monochrome looks with lighter colors. I think it's a nice and fresh take instead of just wearing all black. Don't get me wrong though, I still love the all black look, it will always be a  classic, edgy, chic and sharp look. But doing monochrome in the lighter tones can be sharp and chic too and I think it is often overlooked. So on this post, I decided to wear my new favorite skirt with a boyfriend tee to dress it down a little. The skirt is so cute and soft and currently on sale, I can't even believe how low the price is right now! :) I love that it's a lighter peach/ nude color and not the regular black leather skirts.  And I can't wait to wear it  with some oversized sweaters with sneakers and booties for Fall.

Hope you guys are having a nice week!

These days I've just been obsessed with white shoes, more like white pointy- toe shoes to be exact. And I can't believe when I saw these on sale at Zara (yes it was a part of that haul I was telling you guys about ;) ) . I literally can wear it with anything and everything. From dresses, to trousers it's definitely a great pair to have.  I also love these yellow stripe shorts as you can easily dress it up with heels or down like I did with some casual flats. We shot these pictures late in the day so I apologize if they are a little darker than normal. Hope you enjoyed this casual look!
