I know we see plaid tops everywhere, but I particularly like this one because of the color. I just love the touch of purple, I think it's a fresher color combo that makes it stand out more than the regular, more classic colored ones. Can't help but wear it with (faux) leather shorts. There's something about (faux) leather shorts that makes me want to get them in every style and color just like how I want all the different styles of coats for Fall. I also wore it with these taupe heels to balance out the look. The neutral taupe color tones it down and I think makes the look more chic.

So with these transition trends, are you more of a stripe girl or a plaid gal, or both? For some weird reason I think I own more plaid and plain basics than stripes (...now that I think about it) :)

SAN FRANCISCO

 

 A quick little recap from my mini getaway on my birthday. We went to the city, which by the way I don't mind being there like every weekend. But we've been insanely busy that we haven't gotten a chance to get away much this last couple of years. But that's all changing and I am so looking forward to traveling again. 

I thought I'd include the hubby in my car selfie :)  (without him knowing)

 We just never run out of things to do there and there's always something new to try and discover! If you feel like doing touristy stuff, visit cool museums and gardens, shop till you drop - literally, and of course, you'll never run out of amazing restaurants to try. That weekend we decided to visit and play at the Ferry Building. And believe it or not, we have been to the embarcadero area a million times and we've never visited the Ferry Building! Below is our walk to towards the building.

And the main reason for our visit there was to try this one restaurant that is famous for their super fresh oysters!! We got to sit outside with the view of the bay and goodness the oysters were so fresh and delicious, it's nothing we've ever tasted. Will definitely have to go back!

 I think our sever pressed some weird phone camera setting on my phone while taking our picture but I thought I'd post it anyway so you get to see and meet my favorite person in the world, which is my husband! :) - Meet Mark!  (I'll have to post better photos of him in the future)

 Outside the building was a huuuge farmers market, and inside is full of delicious treats, specialty foods, cafes, restaurants and wine bars. Haha I was too busy trying different kinds of food and browsing so I didn't get to take much photos! :P

 Took a break at the wine bar for some Chardonay and a local brewed beer

 After that we headed over to check out this amazing 2nd hand designer store "Jeremy's" . And when I say "designer" I mean the real big deal designers! Below is only 1 of that cabinets that have their couture collection. I mean there's SOOO much in the whole store to browse. So if you love designer brands and don't mind second hand stuff, then this place will be absolute heaven for you!

Then we visited a couple other boutiques and of headed back to Union Square to shop more.But we only had like a couple hours left before the stores closed. Sooo I'm sure we'll be back again. 

So this is just a little glimpse of things you can do in San Francisco for a day that is not so touristy. There's just so many things to do and places to go to that suits any mood.

These days I've just been obsessed with white shoes, more like white pointy- toe shoes to be exact. And I can't believe when I saw these on sale at Zara (yes it was a part of that haul I was telling you guys about ;) ) . I literally can wear it with anything and everything. From dresses, to trousers it's definitely a great pair to have.  I also love these yellow stripe shorts as you can easily dress it up with heels or down like I did with some casual flats. We shot these pictures late in the day so I apologize if they are a little darker than normal. Hope you enjoyed this casual look!

So I have to share this amazing find with you guys! I have been wanting a white cross body mini tote and I can't believe when I saw this one at Nordstrom. I mean it can't be any more perfect than this,  it's the perfect shape, with the black metal details! It's a new one from Rebecca Minkoff and I can't seem to find the white one anywhere else, but I see their nude color one which is really nice too.  Both colors will definitely go with anything! It's the perfect little size mini tote with pockets. Also loving these white flatform sneakers from Asos! They are so comfy and a nice change from regular sneakers! Decided to dress down a little this mint lace dress. This is one of my on-the-go, all day hop from meeting to meeting look. Bright Summer colors and super comfy!

Hello! Happy new week!! I'm so excited to show you this outfit post for today. I love finding jumpsuits that fit really good. I love this one especially because it has wide leg pants and the fabric is light weight which means it's perfect for the hot weather here. We are getting a lot of days here where it is over 100 degrees and finding cute outfits where you can stay fresh and cool (that are not short denim shorts and tank tops) sometimes can be challenging. You can also accent this jumpsuit with different belts, depending on your mood you can easily dress this up or down. The look I created here is something you can wear in the evening. So if you are getting tired of wearing that LBD, you can change it up by getting a nice jumpsuit and still create a nice, chic look. I am also excited to show you my new favorite jewelry- these pearl chokers. I thought it's the perfect accessory for this look. I am wearing 2 chokers with this outfit and I am really glad that pearls are once again back. I've always loved my pearls so I am all over this trend!
