 Hello everyone! Hope you all had a fab 4th of July weekend!! We had a nice long weekend and I will do a post on that here pretty soon. Were you guys able to do some shopping? The sales were pretty awesome everywhere!! I wish the long weekend was longer so I have enough time to check out all the deals they had! Although, some of the stores do have extended sales so we can all still shop! Let me know if you want a list of some of my go- to stores that are still on sale and I can post a list.  

Anyway, It's been warming up here like crazy. Temps are up 100 degrees so Summer clothes are definitely out and a must if you want to survive the heat! This dress I am wearing is so perfect for the weather. Found this on sale at Urban Outfitters but I'm afraid it is sold out!! So I attached a bunch of cute drop waist dresses above. I just love drop waist dresses, they are so easy, no fuss pieces. You can eat, and just be comfy. Also so perfect for postpartum and if you have a baby or kids. Same goes for my sandals. They are sold out but I attached a bunch of similar ones above. And to share more of my tricks this Summer, best excuse to enjoy ice cream, popsicles, gelatos, shaved ice and all the cold sweet treats guilt free! Ha! :) But also have water with you all the time and don't forget  to wear your sunscreen!!

CLASSIC WITH A TWIST

Hi guys! First of all I just wanted to say happy Mother's day to all the moms out there! I hope you 

guys had a nice and special day yesterday and got spoilt rotten because you deserve it!! :)

Anyway, these past few days have been extra extra windy so forgive my wild hair on these photos! 

I wanted to start this post by saying that during this whole pregnancy, this is the first time I've worn a 

maternity skirt and goodness, how comfortable they are! I've always just sort of ignored the skirts and 

I wish I hadn't. All the fun outfits I could have put together with them. On this particular look, I wore 

it with a very structured crop top. The top is not maternity, it's a regular woman size but just in a 

bigger size. I figured since the maternity skirt goes up and covers the belly, a crop top would be a fun 

top to wear with it. And since it's the classic black and gray color combo, I thought that a bright pop 

of color would be fun! My new favorite heels!! ... and yes I want them in every color! 

So I truly want to say thanks to Bump Style Box that introduced me to maternity skirts!! If it wasn't 

for them I would have had no clue as to what I was missing. If you have not heard of them, they are a 

maternity boutique that sends designer fashion straight to your door. You fill out your profile on their 

website and their stylist picks out items  that fit your style profile and sends them directly to your 

door. 

Then you get to try them out in the comfort of your own home, in your own time, keep what you like 

and send back 

what you don't. I mean... that's a pretty Ah-mazing deal if you ask me!! :) Especially if you are super 

busy expectant mom who does not have time to shop or just really don't know what to wear during 

pregnancy, it's like having your own personal stylist and shopper! 

I got my first box from them and totally loved almost all of it. I got 5 pieces of clothing. I love 4 of 

them and will be sending 1 back. You'll definitely see me style them here on the blog.

I know we see plaid tops everywhere, but I particularly like this one because of the color. I just love the touch of purple, I think it's a fresher color combo that makes it stand out more than the regular, more classic colored ones. Can't help but wear it with (faux) leather shorts. There's something about (faux) leather shorts that makes me want to get them in every style and color just like how I want all the different styles of coats for Fall. I also wore it with these taupe heels to balance out the look. The neutral taupe color tones it down and I think makes the look more chic.

So with these transition trends, are you more of a stripe girl or a plaid gal, or both? For some weird reason I think I own more plaid and plain basics than stripes (...now that I think about it) :)

Did you guys see all the details of these striped trousers? The details are so awesome it's why it's my favorite. It has a cool print and cut, I love the front pleats and the zipper pockets with ivory trims. All of these details make these pants unique. The quality is great too and YES, it is ON SALE! :D It's a definite score! It is so comfortable, it's perfect for bopping around or for busy on-the-go days. You can easily dress it up or down. I'll definitely be wearing these with flats and sneakers too! 

Well I'm sure you guys have had one of those days where you have so much to do and you don't even know where to start and you're already out of time? Well, that is me today! So I'll keep this short and hope you guys liked the photos! :)

Hi guys! So you all know that I love graphic tees and muscle tanks. This outfit I'm wearing is probably one of my favorites. It's just such a fun, easy, city look. I decided to dress down the skirt a little by wearing it with this muscle tank jersey. Playing and mixing girly pieces with some sporty ones. Still wore it with my stilettos and pearl earrings and balancing it with a simple, messy pony tail.  I found this skirt while traveling internationally and immediately fell in love! I got so lucky since there was 1 left in my size and it was on a crazy sale too! I love it when these things just work out!  I tried to look for similar skirts to link up on this post but I can't seem to find anything similar... I'm sure some will pop up later and if I do see them I'll update the link above. Did you guys get great finds from the Memorial Weekend sales? I was super busy half with work and half trying to get caught up with  the much needed quality time with the husband and family that I missed out on all the sales! I guess will just have to wait for the next holiday! :)
