Hi guys! Weird how I feel like I have not been here for a while. Maybe because it  has been super busy these last couple of weeks. Our trip to Southern California went really well. It was so much fun to be able to spend time with my family and also get to go around town. Carter did amazingly well and my family finally got to meet him. I wish we had more time to spend there though. I'll post about the trip here soon! 

It's crazy too how big he is getting. He is now 3 months old and I think weighs over 16 lbs and probably about 26 inches or so long. I know me and Mark are pretty tall but it's just crazy seeing it with my own little human. Last week this little guy learned to rollover. It was pretty amazing but I am not sure if I am ready to chase him down when he starts crawling yet, haha! So that's what we do now, we play the rollover game and he rolls over a bazzillion times over and over! :) 

Anyway, let's talk about this flowy black and white dress. When I first saw this I already thought it was super cute. But when I actually got it and wore it, it's actually even better. I love the cut and how the contrasting black and white is angled diagonally. I dressed it down with my slides and added my red bandana to finish the look!

I love a nice, easy, and cute Summer dress. You wear it, you don't have to think about what to wear with it with and off you go! I also felt like I needed more color so I decided to wear this aztec print bucket bag to add color and texture to the look. The dress and the bag is now sold out so I attached similar links above.

Anyway, I cannot believe another week has gone! I feel like it should only be Wednesday right now.  Carter also turns 3 months this month! It sure is flying by! I better get on and get his photos professionally taken and some family pictures as well. Boy am I slacking off on that! Never thought I'd ever have to plan a theme for a baby's professional photo sesh!! It's pretty crazy! But here I am.... I think it's going to be so much fun I'm excited! But first, I need some inspiration. First stop is Pinterest!

Well we are now back hitting over 100 degrees here in Sac. I love that there are so many cute Summer trends we can choose from to wear but I always have denim shorts as one of my Summer staples. Why? Because it's so easy and comfy and because you can really just wear anything and everything with it. So here's another easy, comfy but still stylish Summer outfit idea for you that I have put together. I can seriously live in these pieces all Summer. 

Anyway, a little update on baby C. He sure is growing pretty fast. On his 2 month appointment he weighed 15lbs and was 24 inches long! Well no wonder my wrists hurt from picking him up. He's become very alert and just loves to chat, coo, smile and laugh and it just melts my heart really! I can do that with hm all day, haha! He also has started sleeping through the whole night!! Yes, that is major and pretty exciting and I hope that continues on. But the weirdest thing is that he seems to be showing signs of teething!! Yep! Sounds crazy right? But I guess  some babies develop early and they can get teeth around 3 months.... So we'll see... I'll definitely update you on that. 

This weekend, we are having our friends over for dinner.  Geesh, I am just now realizing how much I have missed entertaining and well I have been missing cooking since I have not really cooked in a long, long time. I just love having great company over with good homemade food.  It will be our first time to entertain with Carter here so I'll have to let you guys know how we do! :)

COOL GIFTS FOR HER!!

Hi guys! Here it is!! I'm finally able to create a fun little gift guide for the holidays in case you need some more ideas as to what to get the special ladies in your life this season! It's a gift guide under $250.00. There's so much good sales going on this weekend and so much fun things we can get for our loved ones,  I literally had to stop myself or else this guide will be so long and I will be here all day playing online. It is kinda nice because at the same time I am able to browse what deals are out there and browse the cutest stuff to get my family and friends. So here's a few good stuff!! Who knows,  I might keep doing more gift guides till right before Christmas!! :)

SAN FRANCISCO

 

 A quick little recap from my mini getaway on my birthday. We went to the city, which by the way I don't mind being there like every weekend. But we've been insanely busy that we haven't gotten a chance to get away much this last couple of years. But that's all changing and I am so looking forward to traveling again.

 We just never run out of things to do there and there's always something new to try and discover! If you feel like doing touristy stuff, visit cool museums and gardens, shop till you drop - literally, and of course, you'll never run out of amazing restaurants to try. That weekend we decided to visit and play at the Ferry Building. And believe it or not, we have been to the embarcadero area a million times and we've never visited the Ferry Building! Below is our walk to towards the building.

And the main reason for our visit there was to try this one restaurant that is famous for their super fresh oysters!! We got to sit outside with the view of the bay and goodness the oysters were so fresh and delicious, it's nothing we've ever tasted. Will definitely have to go back!

 I think our sever pressed some weird phone camera setting on my phone while taking our picture but I thought I'd post it anyway so you get to see and meet my favorite person in the world, which is my husband! :) - Meet Mark!  (I'll have to post better photos of him in the future)

 Outside the building was a huuuge farmers market, and inside is full of delicious treats, specialty foods, cafes, restaurants and wine bars. Haha I was too busy trying different kinds of food and browsing so I didn't get to take much photos! :P

 After that we headed over to check out this amazing 2nd hand designer store "Jeremy's" . And when I say "designer" I mean the real big deal designers! Below is only 1 of that cabinets that have their couture collection. I mean there's SOOO much in the whole store to browse. So if you love designer brands and don't mind second hand stuff, then this place will be absolute heaven for you!

Then we visited a couple other boutiques and of headed back to Union Square to shop more.But we only had like a couple hours left before the stores closed. Sooo I'm sure we'll be back again. 

So this is just a little glimpse of things you can do in San Francisco for a day that is not so touristy. There's just so many things to do and places to go to that suits any mood.
