Happy new week and also a short week guys! It was so nice to be able to spend the 3 day weekend with my boys. We had a fun and relaxing long weekend. I hope you guys had a wonderful weekend too!
So one of my favorite things to do with my over the knee boots is to wear them with midi skirts and uneven hem skirts. I just really love the look and it's not something you see all the time. And from there you can totally play with layering, I think that any jacket, coat or cardigan would easily look good with a midi skirt and otk boots combo. I wore this for a dinner out, we had some family in town. The jacket was perfect for the chilly, evening weather.
Hi and Happy New Year everyone! Here's my first post for the year. Pretty crazy and amazing that we are now in 2016! But I hope you guys all had a nice New Year's eve!
On this post I am wearing my new favorite (faux) leather jacket. I don't think I can ever own enough leather jacket. They are just so easy and goes good with pretty much everything. I also love to layer them because there really are no rules in layering so you can have as much fun as you want with it. I like to layer my leather jackets with different coats and cardigans to give them a slightly different look. I particularly love the sleeve style of this jacket and if you have several ones on rotation, well this one from SHEIN is definitely an easy addition because it seriously won't break the bank. They have several other styles available to choose from too!
I also am loving these booties. To my surprise they are actually so so so comfy and fit really well. Pretty happy with them. Can't wait to wear them with skirts and dresses.

These diagonal stripes and the color palette of this whole look I really love for Fall. And I am really a big fan of high waist, wide leg pants. I also love mixing neutrals with a bold pop of color or pattern, I think my home decor is the same way. :)
Lately I have been feeling exhausted. Maybe I am finally crashing. Since caffeine does not even seem to do the trick these days. I usually go and power through for months and BAM! One day I just crash! So it might be time for some serious R & R. Be on hiatus for a few days and shut off everything and everyone and just spend some time with me and my little family. Eeeks I usually have a problem with just relaxing so we'll see how I do. Any tricks that you guys usually do to achieve that nice relaxing time that can totally revive and rejuvenate you? Please do share, I would love to hear and try something new too! :)
There's something about the grid pattern that I really love. I tend to get more drawn to it than plaid or tartan.

Also just wanted to share, since I love finding products that really serve their purpose. This beanie I found from Uniqlo is definitely a favorite!! It really keeps your head nice, warm and cozy because of their heat technology. And their prices really don't break the bank.
I was so so happy when I found this grid coat from Century 21 in New York! Have been wanting one and the style of this coat and the price was perfect! I am also wearing my first ever, real maternity top on this post! Haha it's pretty fun seeing the bump and this might be the one and only time I'll ever say thank goodness for clothing with ruching!! I've never been a fan of that style, but boy does it do wonders on a prego body! It really helps with accentuating the baby bump and the pregnant body. Once the belly gets bigger and you start looking frumpy on regular oversized clothes, fear not my 1st time prego friends!! Just get tops and dresses with ruching and it just makes everything so much better! And I can't even tell you how comfy they are.
