ALL ABOUT THE GRID

January 12, 2015

There's something about the grid pattern that I really love.  I tend to get more drawn to it than plaid or tartan.

I must say that I have been really enjoying my Rocksbox. So if you are an accessory lover like me, you might really want to consider trying them out. You don't have to purchase the jewelries unless you really really love them. But you can can rock them with your outfits without having to spend your dollars unless you know for sure you want to keep them.  You get 3 different jewelry pieces every time. When you don't want them anymore you just put them back in the box and swap them for different ones.  Super easy, they are all great designer brands and really fast shipping.

Below is an up close photo of the Gorjana Twist Cuff I got from my last box- (the one closest to the coat sleeve). And right now we have a new and fab promo code for you where you get the FIRST MONTH FOR FREE!! Yaay!! Yep completely free!! Just enter the code ROWENABFF at check out when you sign up.

Also just wanted to share, since I love finding products that really serve their purpose. This beanie I found from Uniqlo is definitely a favorite!! It really keeps your head nice, warm and cozy because of their heat technology. And their prices really don't break the bank.

I was so so happy when I found this grid coat from Century 21 in New York! Have been wanting one and the style of this coat and the price was perfect! I am also wearing my first ever, real maternity top on this post! Haha it's pretty fun seeing the bump and this might be the one and only time I'll ever say thank goodness for clothing with ruching!! I've never been a fan of that style, but boy does it do wonders on a prego body! It really helps with accentuating the baby bump and the pregnant body. Once the belly gets bigger and you start looking frumpy on regular oversized clothes, fear not my 1st time prego friends!! Just get tops and dresses with ruching and it just makes everything so much better! And I can't even tell you how comfy they are.

Anyway I hope you guys have a great week!! Oh and head over to my instagram today if you can! We are giving away a $500 gift card to JCREW  to 1 lucky winner!! Yep, New Year means new beginnings, meaning fresh new wardrobe! ;) The giveaway ends tonight at 5 PM PST and the rules to join are super easy! So don't miss out!!
Happy Monday!

Kisses,

RECAP OF MY NYC TRIP | PART 2

November 29, 2014

Boots Steve Madden
Sunglasses Rayban

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and was bale to spend quality time with your loved ones!

So here's another outfit I wore from my trip last week. Love love love this coat from Mango. Such a nice red color and I also love the style and the cut. I was wearing a cream knit pullover inside the coat, but I forgot to unbutton the coat while shooting to show you what I was wearing, bummer! Anyway, I am so glad we were there before the weather got really bad this week. I also must say that I packed good and light on this trip which actually surprised me too! I guess I was gearing up to shop in NYC since all my favorite stores are there.

In addition to the quick recap I did on the last post, eating, site seeing and shopping our way through New york,  I also forgot to mention that we had a celebrity sighting! That's always fun isn't it?! One evening, we were walking back to our hotel after having dinner and after picking up some desert from the famous Junior's cheesecake, we saw a small crowd starting to form outside one of he theaters. Well apparently Bradley Cooper just finished his broadway show The Elephant Man and people were starting to gather outside the back of the theater for photos and autographs so of course I had to run and join in- just to see him not for autographs or photos. Haha! ....after minutes of waiting there he was!! Me and Mark got a really good spot and we were standing super close to him and of course I did get some photos. He was very nice to the crowd and pretty much took selfies with everyone. He is beautiful but just not as tall as he seems to be on screen. Mark was actually much taller than him.

Anyway, me and Mark have been enjoying this holiday. We started tackling my closet situation and I guess that's just taking so much longer than i thought it would. I am hoping to get it done and finished by tonight. Decided to stay and use my current closet instead of moving my whole closet to another room. Just seems so much more work creating a whole new closet. But we've added lots of shelving to get it more organized and make everything fit where you can totally see everything you have. It already looks and feels so much better.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed this post! :)
