These diagonal stripes and the color palette of this whole look I really love for Fall. And I am really a big fan of high waist, wide leg pants. I also love mixing neutrals with a bold pop of color or pattern, I think my home decor is the same way. :)

Lately I have been feeling exhausted. Maybe I am finally crashing. Since caffeine does not even seem to do the trick these days. I usually go and power through for months and BAM! One day I just crash!  So it might be time for some serious R & R. Be on hiatus for a few days and shut off everything and everyone and just spend some time with me and my little family.  Eeeks I usually have a problem with just relaxing so we'll see how I do. Any tricks that you guys usually do to achieve that nice relaxing time that can totally revive and rejuvenate you? Please do share, I would love to hear and try something new too!  :)

Can I just say?? I'm in love with this little white lace dress the moment I laid eyes on it! The lace and laser cute detail is so good an I also love the structure of the dress. It's definitely an all year round dress. Since it's Fall-ish here in California I decided to wear it with my blue boots. For this season I think this dress will look great with anything that has chunky square heels. It is sold out but I found a couple of similar ones. This dress will definitely be a favorite for a long time.

By the way brunch last weekend was successful. On the menu: we had 2 different kinds of quiches, of course a charcuterie, salad, donuts, raspberry sour cream coffee cake, salmon with cream and capers on a baguette, some yogurt and fresh fruit, and mimosas. Now that we have a little human brunch just seems to be the perfect time for a gathering. Carter did so well, he just chilled with our friends and he just played and enjoyed his new toys. He is now enjoying a walker and this standing saucer thing where he can rotate and around it are all fun little toys and music stuff. It was so much fun to spend time with some great friends we seldom ever see because of everyone's busy schedule.

Well I can't believe it is almost the weekend again. How has week been going?

Cheers to the weekend guys!!  Friday will always be one of my favorite days!
Well here we are on the Part 2 series of styling one of my favorite transition pieces for this Fall, this long shirt dress! This time is styled it very causal, perfect for during the day and running around. It's seriously so comfy I love it!! It's such a unique piece from My Concrete Blues boutique, really digging the design of the fabric with the black accents. If you guys are thinking about getting this piece, you might want to hurry before they go out of stock!

Also I never talked about my little precious body bag I've been toting around lately. It's definitely a new favorite. I love how it's small, classic black and gold and really just perfect to carry all my daily important small things that are so easy to lose in a big tote. I mean I still love my bigger ones but when on the go, I find this one just perfect  right now. Oh! - and what about that I am now a mom and what about the diaper bag and all the baby things I need? Well the trick is super simple ;) I have mommy hooks attached to the stroller. I can't even tell you guys how much that has saved me!!!! Literally! And will you believe me if I tell you that I have never in the 5 months I have been a mom have carried Carter's diaper bag? Nope! I have a designated mommy hook to hold and carry that heavy diaper bag while I still get to carry my cute bags and totes I dearly love. (Yes, true confession: I am a bag lady ;) ) Those hooks are really great too for when you are shopping with the baby and  at the groceries!

Anyway, this weekend we invited some friends to come over for brunch and I need to start preparing the house for that. Now, won't it be so much fun to just host brunch, lunch, dinner parties and tea parties all the time??!! To have different sets of dinnerware and china for every party?!! And set and decorate the whole table ala Martha Stewart style or pinterest worthy style? If I had all the time in the world, I would probably do that more often! :) I finally finalized our little menu and I'm getting really excited! Hope you guys all have a wonderful weekend!!

Kisses,
