I am loving this top paired with these flared jeans. With the sunnies and the (faux) fur clutch, the whole look is totally giving off a 70s vibe. This is a really fun top too, I think you can definitely do a few different looks with it. And of course in a cooler weather  this would be so cute layered with a cool jacket. I also attached similar clutches and I found one in a burgundy color and goodness, I think that's totally a new favorite for me right now! Burgundy is just such a beautiful color! It totally goes with everything and every skin color. 

Anyway, are you guys realizing that the Holidays are right around the corner????? Geeesh......Well I am still trying to wrap my head around that. I love the Holidays and Christmas is seriously my most favorite time of the year so I better get into the Holiday mode. This year I think I would like to dress up a little. I usually do but for some reason last year I don't think I did for Thanksgiving nor Christmas. So this year maybe I'll step it up a notch! Have you guys thought about what you are wearing for Thanksgiving and Christmas and have you found them or have you started the search to find the pieces you want? Are you going for a dress or maybe some nice wide leg, high waist trousers? Or are you going for jeans this year? I am super excited to start looking around and see what will inspire me! I'll definitely keep you guys updated!

LEATHER, LACE AND PRADAS

 

Happy Friday guys!! I had a really great start today. Carter decided to sleep from 7:30PM- 7:00Am!! 

I mean he sleeps pretty good from like 7:30PM and would wake up once at like 5 or 6am to feed 

then sleep again for a couple more hours. It's pretty good unless he is undergoing a growth spurt or 

some sleep regression. But it really makes such a huge difference when you actually sleep straight 

without so much interruption, you just feel so much rested in the morning. 

So we went and got a Starbucks treat for me and we were able to sit out in our patio since it was still 

nice and cool and I was able to do some work there. 

This week has been kind of nuts for me. Carter's sleep patterns are changing, so this week I tried to 

re-schedule everything to fit in to see when he wants to do his naps now.  So I have to schedule 

everything around it and hope we get a pattern down this week so when we resume back in to 

schedule next week that he would just fall asleep at his "nap time" wherever we are.  Funny, re-doing 

your whole routine and schedule is actually exhausting and I felt so scattered this week. But I think 

we got his new nap times figured out and hopefully next week would be much smoother.

So anyway, let's talk about this outfit!  Oh my gosh I totally fell in love with this dress as soon as I 

saw it!! And the price I can't even believe for the style and quality. It's totally a must have piece in 

your wardrobe.  Because the color is neutral you can totally do so much with it. I wore it with my 

moto jacket to balance off the daintiness of the dress and give it some edge. And these Prada 

sunglasses  in this color - I'm totally obsessed with!! Like Obsessed! I totally love it!! It just goes

Well this week it actually cools down here a little. Just enough to wear jeans really! Haha! And then on the weekend we are back up at 90 plus degrees again. So I will take temps at 80s and 70s for sure. Has it cooled down where you are? 

Anyway, I must say that I love every piece I am wearing on this post. Just has a little twist on the basics for the season . Love the style of the this tunic. These jeans are so comfy and I really love the wash. I'm really liking the Blank NYC jeans lately. All their styles are on point, they are soft and it doesn't really break the bank. And these mules!!! I am so glad I found them, the style and color are perfect,  I can pretty much wear them with everything and you wouldn't even believe the price!! I'll definitely be putting in some miles on these this Fall. If you have not heard of Go Jane, they are an online boutique that has so much cute stuff and nothing in that store breaks the bank. They stay on top of the trend and oh!!- Don't forget to check out their wide variety of shoes collection! Go Jane has always been on my list of go-to stores to check all the time. Carter's Jumpsuit  Whistle & Flute

Hi guys! This post I have for you tonight is when we spent and explored Sausalito, Ca. It's pretty close from where we live and it's really really nice. You can take quick ferry rides to San Francisco and I think to Napa as well. They are also knows for house boats, and I mean  "real" house boats that cost millions to build. Funny how it's so close from us but we've never explored that city. We always head out to San Francisco, Napa Valley and Tahoe but there really are a lot more cool cities to see around Northern California. 

The other little town we visited too is called Tiburon. It's so so nice and quaint. Also by the water, it's really beautiful and definitely quieter than Sausalito. Sausalito is also known for great restaurants and the one we went to was superb! My swordfish dish was SO good and Mark's grass fed burger was probably one of the best burgers I have tasted ever. It was a really a great day and I'd love to go back explore more of it since we had a late start that day.  

And speaking of late starts, well I guess we were rushing and completely left one of the most important things I should never, ever leave home without --- can you guess? Well, we freaking left our camera! Ha! So please forgive the quality of these pics but at least we have some photos from that day! 

And one of the other great thing that happened that day?? I guess one of my instagram friends who I only met through instagram, was actually sitting right next to us at lunch!! Straight from NYC!! How crazy is that?! So random but the power of social media is pretty. darn. amazing!! If it was not for instargam our paths wouldn't even have crossed! I've met so many great & inspiring people on instagram and other social media platforms and it's just so fun and wonderful. A great creative community and like minded people that help and support each other.
