I've always been a big fan of button ups, button downs and good basic tops because these kinds of tops are so versatile! You can totally wear them with anything and if they are great quality, then you can keep re-using them all year round. Their style is also usually classic which means the style is just timeless. They also really come in handy when you like to play with trendy pieces because they will easily look great with any trend. As I've said before these are pieces you definitely want to invest in. 

Aside from solid colors for a good basic top, chambray and stripes are a total must too when building your wardrobe! I seriously cannot turn down any chambray top. Any wash and style, I wouldn't mind having as much in my closet. I totally love this top from Shabby Apple and I decided to wear it with this gorgeous embroidered skirt and had to wear my blue boots with them of course. It's definitely a transition to Fall look, we are still patiently waiting for cold weather here in California.

Hi guys! It's almost the end of another week. Hope you guys are having an awesome one. Mine was crazy busy but very productive! Anyway I have a surprise for you! I do get picky with peplum tops because most f the time they just don't fit right. It's either too short, too small or too big, or it cuts at the part of the body which makes it so unflattering. But this top is perfect!! Fits just right and the cut on the waist is perfect. It's also such a versatile piece, you can totally wear it with anything. Dress it down with jeans or shorts or dress it up with slacks or skirts. On this outfit I decided to play with a pencil midi skirt. It's sort of pulling a vintage look but definitely with a modern twist!
