DRESSING THE BUMP

February 23, 2015

Last weekend we took a mini road trip to LA to see the family and we also did my family baby shower. It was so so good to see the family and this is the outfit I wore on my baby shower.

With a big family and me not seeing them very often, it was such a busy event trying to catch up with everyone. So we were not really able to take blog worthy photos and so I had to re-do the look and shoot it so i can show you guys the baby shower outfit!

LOVE this super fun clutch from People by People! They have the coolest and most fun accessories at their store and I can't wait to style them more on my upcoming posts! This clutch is so perfect for adding a pop of color too!

So I love this dress I found at Asos maternity! There's only been a few maternity stores that I have found that I like so far and thank goodness for these stores that carry a maternity line. I like the cut and design of the dress and I love that this is just flowing which means super comfy and with my side of the family, gatherings are like a fiesta all the time.  It's mostly centered on food and of course spending quality time with family and friends. But there's usually a huge spread of our most favorite foods which means we are pretty much chowing all day long! So I thought this dress was perfect! It was a really good shower and my mom, aunt and cousin made all my favorite dishes I have not had in so long!! So yes, me and Mark were in food heaven! Yes he now has his favorite Filipino dishes too!

Anyway, Happy Monday and I hope you guys all have an amazing week!! :)

MINIMALIST IN CAMEL

January 27, 2015

Hi guys! Hope you are having a great week so far! I'm super excited with today's post! This  camel on camel look is probably one of my faves this season and of course throwing in a pop of gray is always a great idea. Every single piece is so comfy too, I can easily wear this full outfit together and actually wear each piece separately, as easy as well. These  are  pieces you'd want to invest in because you really do get a lot of use out of them and not to mention all the different outfits you can put together with each piece. I love the simplicity of this skirt with the sporty stripe  giving the look some edge. You will probably  be seeing these pieces on repeat here on the blog.

This week I have  Mark's family over from Canada so I might be a little bit MIA spending some family quality time... but 'll still try my hardest to do my  3 outfit posts for the week but we shall see...  I also have some great new outfits  coming your way so I am pretty excited about that and can't wait to share!
