Hi guys! Hope you had a great weekend!! So these past few months, I have made a decision to pull back a lot from work and start focusing a little bit more again on home and family. So this weekend after a long long long time I was so excited to be able to have the time to cook again. I made 2 seafood dishes and had some friends over and it was such a blast. My kitchen skills were a little bit rusty but I will have time to work on that again and I can't wait. What did you guys get up to this weekend?

Anyway, I want to share with you my outfit photos above. I love gorgeous statement pieces and it even scores major points when they are unique in design. This statement piece from Chloe & Isabel you don't really see everywhere, it's so chic and at the same time a little edgy. So if that's your style you're definitely getting the best of both worlds on this piece. I wore it with the gray romper I scored at TJ Maxx and went for the chic look. But you'll definitely see me wear this a lot and I actually can't wait to style casually with a black or white tee. They carry a lot of really cute pieces so you should check them out!

Also if you want to find out a little bit more about me, how I stay inspired and some of my soul-care tips for the busy, modern women, head over to shop Compliment's blog and I have a feature interview on their soul care series to read more about it.

Hope you enjoyed this post and have a wonderful week!!

Hello loves! As you know I love my clean, chic neutrals but I definitely love my prints and colors too! Especially this Summer, there are so many fun prints, patterns and textures out to try and play with.  This dress is one that stood out for me. It's so so cute and unique with the floral print and bright colors. Has the nice scuba material. And I know it's that time for weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, outdoor parties and all other summer events and I think this is another dress that would be perfect for all of that. It's fun, it's fresh and still very chic. I also included above some ideas on the different fun shoes you can wear with it, lace up heels should work too!

Hope you enjoyed this post! :)
