Hello! Are you guys all ready and set for Thanksgiving holiday? I bet those of you that are still working this week just can't wait to be off and start the Holiday celebrations. Well you are almost there!

Anyway just doing a quick little recap of my trip to NYC last week. I was hoping to get more shoots in so I can show you the outfits I wore on the trip, but because of the weather and our full daily itinerary it was almost impossible. But I was able to squeeze in 2 which is this post and the next one. So this post was shot in one day. The beige coat is my outside layer because it was so so cold the week we were there. The first day was raining and then it was just cold the rest of the week but the sun was out so that was good. Funny because I think it starts warming up there again next week.

Anyway, as I mentioned on my previous post, this New York trip was both a first for me and Mark. I guess we both waited and just prioritized international travels first before having kids and saved domestic travels for when we have kids. So on this trip we did a lot of of the touristy stuff, shopped and ate our way through New York. Every single day was packed with activities and places to see and restaurants to try and of course hit up our favorite stores. I guess it's pretty good that me and Mark are pretty in sync with how we travel. When we go to big cities we both love to go and see as mush as we can and even possibly beat up some of the places we love going back and forth during our stay and usually not take much breaks. And of course when we do our tropical vacations we literally just lay out by the beach all day and not do much.  It's nice that we like to do the same things when it comes to travel. :)

So on this trip we saw 4 major museums and my favorite was the Museum of Modern Art. Such cool exhibits they have and a lot of interesting art. We stayed in Manhattan which was really nice because it's pretty much where everything is. My favorite is of course SOHO and the Meat Packing District. Oh I can totally live in Soho!! It's young, hip, chic and trendy and  most of the best stores are all there. I was going to post some travel, city and food photos but we took so much it will take me so long to sort through them. Of course we did the Statue of liberty and Empire State Building. We walked everywhere and of course also went to the central park. It's huge and really pretty. The Grand Central Station is really pretty too and yes you guessed it, it's pretty grand!! Just exactly like how it is on movies!! It's pretty amazing. We tried a lot of restaurants and desert places and boy do I miss all those delicious  deserts and pastries! So so yummy. In short, just like everyone else, I LOVE New York and will definitely be going back. And since we never really stopped while we were there, I must say I'm pretty exhausted now coming back home. But it is the Holidays so I think I can take few days off and just relax and take it easy.  :) Stay tuned for part 2 of this post!

Kisses,
Ro
